A$AP Rocky says Rihanna is 'working on' new album after eight-year music hiatus
Just as fans had given up hope on a new album from Rihanna anytime soon, it looks like her partner A$AP Rocky may have just dropped the biggest hint yet that new music is on the way.
Rihanna hasn’t released an album since 2016, but her break from music has been the complete opposite of relaxing. In that time, the 35-year-old has created her Fenty make-up empire, as well as given birth to two beautiful sons, Riot and RZA. However, it looks like she may be making that highly anticipated comeback after all.
Rihanna is ‘working on new music’ according to A$AP Rocky
As the rapper posed for selfies with fans, of course, one had to take the opportunity to ask when we’d be getting a new album from RiRi.
A$AP did not hesitate to answer the keen fan, as he smiled and pointed while announcing “She’s working on it.”
The announcement sent fans into meltdown, as they all started screaming and cheering, before shouting “WE LOVE YOU A$AP!” Fans on social media are now having the same reaction, as the clip goes viral on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Omg just as I was giving up hope!!” exclaimed one.
“She’s coming!!!!” another excited fan penned.
“Wow this is going to be such a good year for music,” a third commented.
However, some weren’t convinced as they’ve been let down before. “Look how he just made that up,” wrote one.
“She’s been working on it before this dude was even in the picture!!!” exclaimed another.
“Now he lying just like Rihanna,” a third unconvinced fan wrote.
We guess we’ll have to eagerly wait and see…

The stylish couple stepped out on the streets of Paris this Valentine’s Day, and once again did not disappoint as all eyes were on them.
The Umbrella singer stunned in a champagne floor-length dress, as Rocky looked cool and casual in a brown jacket and trousers.
He knows just how to spoil his partner, as Rihanna was spotted holding a huge bouquet of red roses, as they posed for the cameras.
It marks the celeb couple’s third Valentine’s together, as they sparked rumors of a relationship in November 2020.
